Terms and Conditions of Membership

By registering as a member of buzzthepeople you agree to accept these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time by Buzz.

You warrant that:

You have provided accurate and current personal information. You agree to update your personal information when necessary and to ensure that it is current at all times;

You will only undertake surveys that are sent to you and are in your own name;

You only have one membership;

You will not forward survey links you receive to any third party unless invited to do so by us at the time the link is sent to you;

You will keep information and material shown to you in surveys confidential and will not share any such information or material with any other person or organisation;

You will not respond to a survey more than once;

You are aged 18 or over or, if you are under 18, you have the permission of your parents or guardian to be a member of buzzthepeople and to participate in surveys;

You are not a competitor of Buzz, joining up for the purpose of understanding our activity for competitive advantage.

You acknowledge and accept that:

Buzz reserves the rights to suspend or terminate your membership of buzzthepeople without warning at any time;

Buzz may cancel your membership at its discretion if you don't respond to six or more survey invitations over a 12 month period;

If Buzz suspends or cancels your membership to buzzthepeople or you cancel your own membership your entries into any undrawn prizes draws will be immediately void;

Any amounts accrued in your Shopping Voucher Total can be cancelled or transferred to the Buzz Charities at the discretion of Buzz.

By joining buzzthepeople and completing surveys you have read and accepted the Prize Terms and Conditions;

If you win a prize, your first name and some personal details may be published on the buzzthepeople website provided that the details published do not include your surname or contact details.

Group Membership

If you join a Fundraising Group on buzzthepeople your name, email address, and points earned for the group will show up in the Group log in area, and be visible to the Group Administrator.

The Group Administrator may order payments from Buzz at their complete discretion and Buzz will pay the person or organisation nominated by the Group Administrator at the time they order a cheque.

If you resign from a group by changing your reward option, the points you have earned up to the time of resignation will remain with the group.

If you change your reward option to join a group, the points you have earned up to the time of changing will be voided.

Other Legal Terms and Conditions Disclaimer

You expressly understand and agree that Buzz makes no warranty or representation as to:

The accuracy of any advice or information given or available to you;

The quality or nature of the service, network or your internet connection;

The services provided by Buzz, and in particularly Buzz does not warrant that the services it provides are or will be uninterrupted or error free.

You are liable for any consequential or direct loss or damage suffered by the organisation who commissioned the survey from Buzz (Buzz Client) as a result of you purposely sharing information from a survey with a third party where this leads to this information being published online or in other media, or leads to the information being available to a competitor of a Buzz Client.

Release

You release Buzz and its officers, employees and agents from any claims for loss, damage or liability, including any special damages or consequential loss or damage resulting from a loss of revenue, unavailability of systems or loss of data, in respect of membership of the service and the members use of or inability to use the Buzz system.

You indemnify and agree to keep indemnified Buzz and its officers, employees and agents against all claims (including third party claims), damages, costs (including legal costs), penalties or suits arising out of your use of the Buzz.ThePeople service or system.
