| New Zealanders and Honesty
A panel of 3300 New Zealanders aged
15+ were surveyed on-line and posed ethical dilemmas concerning
money and honesty, and the survey shows that honesty is far from a
black and white issue. We're trading off questions such as personal
integrity, the desire to get ahead, whether or not we see the
victim as impersonal, and whether it is just too much hassle to do
the right thing. On little things where the victim is, say, the
local city council, then 8 out of 10 say they have, or they
would cheat.

| Bio Fuel
Did you know that New Zealand is one of the few developed
countries not blending biofuels in our petrol and diesel?
Biofuels make up over 18% of all petrol sold in the USA and are
also sold through over 400 petrol stations in Australia... In fact
in Australia the Government has set specific industry targets for
Fuel retailers to make sure biofuels become quickly and broadly
available.
We wanted to find out how New Zealand viewed Bio Fuels.
